Cost and weight imo. The rearden muzzle devices + an atlas adapter can be half the price of keymo MDs + adapter. Very important when you have more than one can or host. While the keymo has a 'locking' ring, the spring can wear out or break, albeit after a lot of use and abuse. Taper and threads wont wear, but can very well get damaged nonetheless.

The xeno system dead air has seems nice, but it doesn't look like they have anything bigger than a .30 besides the newest threaded taper mount they have, but I want to have either a brake or flash hider as the mount so it has some functionality if the can is off. I like the LH threads too, wish they would have done that on the keymo.

It ends up being the same weight and length as a Sandman but without the bomb proof internals. I would switch to Xeno, YHM Kurz, or Griffin Plan A.
