TH400 endplay setup. I'm assembling my 400 and have some questions. I started with the rear. I'm using the turbo 350 pump bearing and shims in the rear. Comparing my old thrust washer parts, the new 350 bearing and .010 shim were the same height. I got it all assembled up to the tapered ring in the center support.I suspect the turbo was out of gas. I swapped to twin 7875s for more volume available with what I thought would be less heat at 15+psi. Also I thought it'd give the ability to go on up to 30-35psi given the same long block. I'm shooting for 8.50-8.20s at current weight, which is where I got the boost number.My headers each support a T3 turbo and the 3" exhaust outlet pipe that runs all the way to the mufflers before it is supported again so they have to be strong.
