Jan 30, 2017 · Check the carb vent line to see if is clear if it has one. Recheck float height and that float needle is seating properly. Make sure the pilot screw is adjusted to specs. The 2nd gen King Quads are much different than the first gen, and the rear brake of the 2005+ King Quad is in the oil compartment of the rear gearcase. You must use wet brake compatible oil in that case or bad things will happen. TDH, tractor fluid, Kawasaki wet brake oil, about 650-700 CC is what it takes. Like.

A friend helped me strip the motor down, and ended up changing 4th gear (that's where the piece was from) and I believe third gear drive.Ok, first locate the diff on the rear axle. Now looking at the rear diff from the right hand side. There should be 3 bolts holding a rear gear case cover on, remove those first to access the lower part of the diff. OK so I have a 2002 Suzuki eiger 400 that clicks but won’t start. it has a new battery, new neutral switch relay, new starter solenoid, new starter motor, and all fuses are good. I bench tested the new starter and it spins fine with a known good battery with 220 cold cranking amps.

Only way to really know the year and so on is with the Vin#. The vin tag is usually a small welded tag affixed to the left rear downtube. It should be facing the left rear tire.
