I'm not entirely sure on this, but look at your corn chart and multiply the population numbers by 2.5, then select the sprockets that match closest to 30k. Just bought a 7000 planter and was wondering about the transmission sprockets. I have the operators manual, but I don"t have the driver driven sprocket #"s they have listed on the population chart. I would like to plant 26,700 seeds and the book calls for 22 driver and 18 driven but 14 and 15 are the biggest sprockets on my transmission.

Make sure you have right plates, go through the parts in the bottom of the box, watch the speed and have planter in good condition and it will do the job.
