I’m no expert, but my vague understanding is that wattage isn’t really relevant to how good the lamp is, because the light output is what is key, and that is much more determined by the component quality (eg bulbs) rather than the wattage (which just tells you how much energy the lamp takes in). Therefore I wouldn’t worry about …Hi Laqueristas! Have any of you tried home gel manicures? Which polishes and UV lights do you recommend? Any tips/tricks for smooth manicures? And a bottle lasts a really long time - I notice that it starts to be less effective at around 1/4 of a bottle left (by which I mean, when I use it at a base coat, my nail polish chips more quickly with an old bottle than a new one), but getting to that point takes a while for me. To remove, cover your nails from every angle with cuticle oil (or some oil). Put them in hot water with a small amount of soap for 15 minutes. How long you need will depend on how new your nails are and how much glue you used, so check keep checking every 5 minutes until they peel easily from the side/back of the nail. I feel you, but at least for me it was my own mistake of gnawing the gel off every week. Am on month 2 now and halfway through it. False tips with those nail 'glue' strips that you can peel off are my saviour for events where I want them to look nice.

Didn't know what the proper way was. I just file. I only clip my nails then file when they are really long and I need to shorten them significantly. I only file. I usually have longer nails but when they're short I just file. I'll clip to trim back my nails and then file when they're longer. There are antifungal nail laquers and creams. Depends on the type of polish. Magnetics always take me way longer so for regular non magnetics it takes me about 2.5 hours start to finish. If I used magnetic polish then it’s closer to 3.5-4 hours because I let the nails dry between every single coat. It all comes down to personal taste, but I can’t stand the look of one short nail when the rest are long. If it’s a really low break (like it sounds like yours is), I won’t cut the rest all the way down, but I’ll make them short enough that the broken one isn’t as obvious. vanilla_skies_. • 4 yr. ago.Sep 10, 2013 ... So here is a video about how to use cuticle remover to it's full potential. Like MelbyToast, I probably do this about once a month or so. It will remove the excess cuticle from the nail plate (which can stop nail polish from adhering properly), and also clean up the edges of cuticle around your eponychium.

I do my own nail design using whatever polish I want, let them dry for 24 hrs, then seal them with a gel top coat from BEETLES. The gel top coat in combination with the lacquer gives the soft gel structure and durability and the matte underside adheres much better to nail glue.
