Peltier marble identification.

Another marble ID: Peltier? Post by ref2018 » Thu Mar 28, 2024 1:30 am. I was told this one was made by Peltier. Does it have a "model" name or any other sub-descriptors for this color scheme/design? Found this little guy in a jar of marbles and was covered in dirt. slightly under half inch. Hope it’s what I think. This marble looks black without extra light and very close inspection.Bifurcated = Two different colors of base glass, a different color base on each side of the seams. Example, green base on the left (like a Dragon) and blue base on the right side of the seam (like a Superman). Flip Flop means two different colored ribbons but across from each other, opposite the seam. I'll apply your combined info to find an example of two in hand (Variations) and present them to truly grasp the make up and constitution of this illusive mib.

I think it's got AV.. not UV reactive. The blue/red/purple one is a bit larger around 5/8 inch. It's transparent. I at first thought Peltier, but maybe Vitro? i ...The marbles are found in blue, green, brown, purple, red, orange, aqua, yellow, and clear. M.F. Christensen slags are found in a wide array of shades of each of the colors mentioned. The brown and purple are the most common, perhaps they were the easiest or cheapest to make. The blue and green are next most common, and are fairly easy to find.I think CAC Pastel on big marble and Peltier on Pee Wee.
