Lml duramax crank no start.

Apr 27, 2017. #1. To make a short story long. We bought a 2014 duramax with blown motor, with egr def delete. We bought a motor I was told it was a lml. Ended up being a lgh, out of a cab chassis 2013, everything matched up other then one egr plug. But being as egr is deleted it shouldn't be a huge deal, the truck cranks but won't fire up.Check fuses/relays. If the Injection Pump Fuse blew it would cause loss of communication. Sounds a lot like the old Cummins VP44 issue. The relay that gave the injection pump power had a faulty socket in the fuse block and would drop power and it would throw a communication code almost exactly like that and result in a no start condition. 2.p2295 code. This has been happening for the past couple of months and I've been so busy I haven't been able to take it to the dealer (warranty). I'm throwing a p2295 code for a fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit low, what would cause this. The only code it has ever thrown when this happens is P0336 which is Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance. It doesn't throw it every time it happens and it clears itself before the 40 warm up cycles that it is supposed to. I'm in a pinch here.Member.
