Don't know specifically about a completed JRA M14 rifle, but I have used a number of JRA / Bula receivers in builds and have had excellent results. Receivers were made for JRA first by LRB Arms on Long Island NY, then 7.62 MM Firearms in Medina Ohio and finally by Bula Defense Systems in Cleveland Ohio.

The BM59 designers apparently figured a way to move the clip to a thicker location. Oct 18, 2020 · Not all Rock-Ola receivers are stamped M14. A very small number were stamped PRM -1. I was informed this stood for PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF MARYLAND. Not being stamped M14 made them legal in Maryland as well as New Jersey. The receivers were forged by BULA Forge. It is my understanding they were made before James River Armory moved to Va. I bought the rifle from SARCO for $900.00; fully assembled and head spaced. This is a cast receiver made by James River and looks to be cleanly milled and fits the stock tightly.

Tony, his pictures are of the heel stamps nothing to do with the underneath of the receiver or the welds along the side. I have yet to see good clear photos of the JRA welded USGI M14 heel. I bought 3 of them when they first came out, with custom serial numbers. I also helped some of my friends get theirs ordered with custom numbers as well.
