Engine swap. Trying to figure out what v6 engine I would be able to used to do an engine swap on my Ranger. The 4 banger just doesn't have the power to make it a danger danger like I want it. Not to mention it sucks the gas tank dry quick due to the lack of power. Want a v6 that will basically drop right in with not much work. __________________.

Frame rails on a Ranger are narrow is the main reason it's a concern, if I remember right the front output offset difference between the 44-06 and the normal older 13-56 from the older F150's is like 4" which also means they hang down less... the 44-06 is really close in offset to the 13-50 that you have now.
Goal is to swap in the LS1. Make over 600 hp at the wheels and run the 1/4 in the 10s. Going to be adding all the go fast items to the LS1 and will be beefing up brakes, suspension, rear end transmission etc..
