When i got back to my Exiled Lands character i was shocked that the armor i used before turned out to be useless. Solved it by farming for Dragonhide Helmet and Solspeil shield but that's not an option for PvP, i guess, as you can't just re-craft it if you lose it, you have to farm for it again which can take days, even weeks maybe.
