2019 gmc acadia steering assist is reduced.
I just bought this GMC used in January and started experiencing the same issues as you are describing. Every issue, Steering Assist is Reduced Drive with Care alert, AC not working, temp gauge not working, and fan running at very high rpm and loud. I also get a check engine light.

So, my wife’s 2017 GMC Acadia Denali has been experiencing two issues that Googling indicates are related: an occasional message that “steering assist is reduced” although I don’t feel any difference; and recently no A/C, rad fan running at full blast, and temp gauge reading zero. Both are intermittent.P0128 - Engine Coolant Below Threshold. *Engine coolant temp gauge defaults to cold. *The A/C is commanded to off and inoperative. *The cooling fans are commanded to ON. Replacing the thermostat also required pulling the intake, thus replacing numerous gaskets and O-Rings.GAH!!!! About 54,000 miles my Check Engine Light came on (2017 XT5).
