Went to Daytona yesterday anxious to see the new Kawasaki Voyager 1700. Kawi had one bike to show and it seemed to be the center of attention. Kawasaki seemed to have done a pretty good job on the styling and the frame mounted fairing was nicely laid out, though I didn't much care for the 1969 Chevy Camero style analog gauges.Passenger comfort is outstanding, but the passenger floorboards are too far forward, and interfere with the driver's legs at a stop, especially trying to back up the bike. I made custom steel brackets and moved the floorboards down and back 1.5 inches. I like placement much better, as does my passenger. I love this bike; the low speed handling ...
