I've wanted this for a long time. They could even sell an Ornament, that when equipped, allows you to apply a shader. To go one step further, they could start making Exotic Shaders that can only be equipped to Exotic weapons, and sold for Bright Dust like other Shaders in Eververse but twice or three times the price e.g. 120 Bright Dust.
