Currently here in Oregon gasoline has about 10% ethanol. I just spoke to my card lock fuel supplier here in Salem Oregon and they currently sell non-ethanol "SUPREME" gasoline. Only problem is that I either have to have it delivered with a minimum order of 100 gallons or I have to take my gas can(s) to their facility.Assuming a cost of about $100 per car to make it flex fuel, and assuming that about 10% of flex-fuel cars actually use E85, this would mean that consumers have paid about nine billion dollars for nothing.
