Yes very much so but certain areas hold more certain types of animals. So hotspots like these will have red deer for all. The amount just changes. This whole valley that I shoved in the beginning is full of red deer so I can safely say, you will find them there.

It's dense and pretty while you're walking and stalking. Pigs, call em in and shoot them . Roe deer as well. Geese and the .22 pistol. The Red Deer will come from both the south (directly toward or in front of you) and west (straight toward you), usually 2 separate groups. You can get them as they come in. The ones from the west may veer off toward the river right after the tower, there is a pathway to the drink zone there, but you can get them before they make the turn. The lakes region in the northwest section of Layton is a really good hunting ground once you get the .270/7mm.
