You can run with minimal strength this way, so you can melee via Cha, and still use Warlock spell slots to fuel Smite.

Title, I decided to start an honor mode run as a Dark Urge Duergar Vengeance Paladin, and I decided to try Sorcadin. I want to play something similar to the Oath of the Storms Paladin of 5e, but can't find anything similar online.. The idea would be to play around smite and switch between ranged and melee based on what the situation calls for using almost purely control and lightning spells.
