If you're, as i am, trying to get all the ROR2 achievements, one you will likely have had trouble with is Mercenary: Ethereal, in which you have to beat a prismatic trial hitless. I've been waiting for a good chance, as this acheivment is heavily RNG based. The current one, set in Aphelian Sanctuary, is really good for this. Here's why.

Engineer is the only way to go, get some guillotines and mushrooms, then set up camp to next to the wood shrine right next to the portal. Then summon the alloy worship unit (by breaking a couple of the eggs in the bird nests). Kill him then go down to the middle to pick up the legendary.the two alloy worship units will fight each other, just tricorn the survivor when one dies

I’m fascinated and can’t wait to do a deep di...If you still need Mercenary's alternate special, the new Prismatic Trial is super easy to get it on Right as you spawn theres an equipment chest with a Preon in it, just grab that, kill the time crystals, and when you start the teleporter just hop up on the pillar and shoot it at the ground to one-shot everything.Wait for artifact of glass, instantly kill using default utility before you get killed, glass gameplay is exactly the same as not wanting to take any damage anyway . I found it way easier with this artifact on, even better if kin is on and beetles or jellyfish spawn Any tips for completing a prismatic trial? I've only tried it twice so far, one time as Huntress and just trying to speed through levels and another as Merc and getting lots of items. The furthest I've made it is the third stage, and I feel like it's the RNG mostly, since I usually don't get very good items.
