I took IM before the platform update but I have 2 friends at 2 different programs who took the IM EOR same day sometime after the update, one of them said the exam was the same and one of them said the exam seemed entirely different with almost exclusively medium-long vignettes, zero buzz words, and almost no one-liners/one-step questions.
Here is my breakdown for EOR scores/ packrat/ROSH and my actual PANCE score. EOR. ER: 418 (first rotation and first paea EOR exam) Peds: 459. IM: 452. Surgery: 425. Womens Health: 444. Psych: 399 (my worst one, esp bc I had a rotation that was completely tele-health) Family Med:450.This is the EOR exam PA school prepares you for. Adult medicine đ youâll see..itâs the easiest EOR exam! And a 57% on rosh isnât badâŚthe questions are lengthy and itâs easy to get lostâŚ. I got a 69% on Rosh Boost and got a 452. I too got a 57% on the IM EOR, 3 days before the actual EOR. And ended up getting a 81%. I've been scoring around 75 on ROSH doing 100 questions at the time. Keep in mind these are the 2019 updated PAEA Exams, I noticed on my IM exam there were several "3 step questions" That gave sxs, wanted you to identify the disease and then something like "What are the side effects of the medication that treats this disease". 2. If you have PAEA exams, look at the blueprints, make study guides.. that's what I did. Did fine on all my rotation exams with that method. Eventually you'll start seeing overlap. The more you do, the easier they get. In my opinion EM was the toughest. Yeap. Don't psych (lol) yourself out. Just focus on the blueprint and study like you've been studying for any other EOR. PAEA EORs are relatively easier as long as you have some idea about the topic being asked. You can often deduce McQ options down to 1 or 2 without much grasp of content / knowledge I found doing the rosh end of curriculum exam was somewhat helpful and flipping through pance prep pearls. The rosh exam was definitely easier but there were a few topics that coincided with the paea exam. But like the others talked aboutâŚif youâve been able to get to this point and pass things then you can pass the EOC exam too. 5. Program EOR score conversion.
