I have an old (1964) Mec 600 jr that I converted to 2 1/2" 410 and a new 600 jr MK5 for 3" 410. I have loaded a lot of rounds never needed the stripper. My hulls don't hang up at the reprime station. The versamec had all steel dies and included the pro check. The 600 started with steel dies and no pro check. The later ones had plastic dies. The 700's work great. I still have two 50 years old that I use for hunting loads and load development. Age just makes one old. Only the wise benefit from experience.
