It's not hard to solo the Dragons as Axton, double turrets with shield, magic missile, bee shield, flaker, ahab, DPUH, Grog nozzle and an Explosive relic. Force Heliath to land and mow him down with the flakker and ahab combo, then jump around and take them one at a time. For me, 8 out of 10 cases, the second one to land is the fire one.

I know a hell of a lot about BL3, but I only started playing BL2 about 2 years before BL3 launched, and so while I have beaten UVHM with every character, my in-depth knowledge is limited.. SS downsides are pretty badly overblown, most likely because people frequently pair it with a Legendary Binder. The extra Suspension boost makes it more painful when the orb gets weird. Sand Hawk is rather impracical without Bee which boosts its DPS by an order of magnitude at least. Bonus Package won't help you much with this build.
