The tractor has about 3,500 hours and has always been cared for. Last winter we cleaned the sump screen, replaced the filters and filled with Chevron THF-1000 hydraulic oil which has a John Deere spec. I'm studying JD manual TM1461, section 255 and would like any opinions before the John Deere tech gets over here to help diagnose the problem.
