Most of the threads I've seen is where the fuel line has been leaking towards the rear of the Jeep. Mine is right where it bends up to the engine bay, it's like a rubber hose. Fuel needs to move from the storage tank at the back of your Jeep to the engine, at the front. An electric pump in the tank lifts fuel and forces it into your Jeep YJ fuel line, through the fuel filter to clean it, then to the motor. I have noticed that my very rusty fuel vapor return line looks to have a few small seeps, showing wet spots on the line in the same consistent places.

The question is if its your pump, fuel lines, the fuel filter/regulator (I didnt know that one) or you tank pickup. That would only work if you added a one-way valve to the line to prevent drainback, which would make repriming the line after each shutdown difficult.
