Appears to be a much longer public event called "Supernumerary Blitz" where you defeat 6 "Minotaurs Supernumeros" that are shielded. Shields can only be broken by the Arc Craniums dropped from smaller Minotaurs.

Has even a single person been able to complete one of these and get rewards? There's two layers of RNG (getting it to even happen and getting enough teammates in the instance to be able to complete it) and a seemingly pretty widespread hard crash issue. I literally don't even know what the rewards are.

141 votes, 39 comments. true. I know Bungie buffed the rate that Vex Strike Force spawns, but I've still only ever seen it happen once since LF came out, and it was before the spawn rate buff. Tying new exotic acquisition to it is pointless if there's a chance that you'll straight up never see it.

I wonder if you have to complete the VEX mission in the EDZ, that's one thing I haven't done with my hunter. Other than that I am stumped!The crashing can be minimized if you turn off 3D audio in your PS5 settings and turn the sound fx volume in game to zero. I was able to successfully complete the event last night after doing both of those things (and running void, not strand).
