#1 · 7d ago. In June 2022 I bought a 2020 GMC Terrain SLT 2.0 with 12,000 miles from a dealer in Las Vegas. A couple of months later I realized that the start/start function had never worked. It always ran just like my 2015 Terrain had.Last week when the car reached 40,000 miles the Auto start/ stop started working. Any thoughts why this happened.The Terrain as most would know does not. And it has to be one of the oddest (dumb) thing manufacturers have come up with. Regardless I am sure after awhile I will just get used to it but I have some questions. For one thing I noticed a "bump" now and then when it either stops or starts.
