Everyone seems to have an opinion on which levels to best farm heroes, I personally have done extremely well in 16-6. 16-6 does indeed appear to be a good spot for farming heroes. In 20 data runs, I got 15 heroes (10 x 1* + 5 x 2*), for an average of 0.15 heroes per World Energy. Using them actually halves your overall progression. Just use normal trainings, feed heroes 1 at a time (not with 10), and be happy. I'll use like twenty 1* and 2* troops and get half a level. Totes random, use 8-7. It's even better than the Find Recruits quest, flag-wise. I'll still do Find Recruits II if there's a troop token at the end, otherwise I stick to 8-7.
