There are imo two schools of though for tour massive behavior overhaul. MCO + Animation pack (a lot of these mods were made with this in mind) Adds combos, non-linear movesets, chainable power attacks, and better attack transitions. Making a mod has only made me more appreciative of all mod authors and everything they do. 60+ new animations to enhance your first person combat experience. New unique animations for katana style weapons and daggers. New block idles and block bashes. No Nemesis or FNIS patch required.

I really recommend Combat Gameplay Overhaul, it works really well with VR. Like the title says, I really think this mod shines in VR (mostly), it has a scriptless dodge button like from Dark Souls which is bound to the crouch button, it looks kind of wonky with VRIK if you look down but other than that it works really well.
