All you need to do is create a patch mod between your gasmask mod and AN76 and then copy the ARMOR form for the gasmask into that new patch file. Survival mode is WAY too difficult. Surviving in this game is practically impossible, and I think its mainly due to the damage balance between the player and enemies. My character will usually die in one or two hits, while raiders, I swear to god, can take 3 shots from a shotgun to the face. And don't even get me started on super mutants!!!
