For the furnace/air handler to the thermostat set of wires go Red to R, White to W, Green to G, Yellow to Y, and Blue to C. For the furnace/air handler to the outdoor unit set of wires connect yellow to Y and Blue to C. You will need to go swap the wires at the outdoor unit to redo this wiring so that it matches inside.
