By not using Anarchy, you are crippling Gaige's damage potential. 1.75% Gun damage times either 150/400 equals death. And with ricocheting bullets you can fire from cover. With enough Anarchy you can make anything work on Gaige. If you want my suggestion for an elemental Gaige build I would run guns with high pellet counts and small magazines. The Chain Lightning is ideally suited for Gaige builds with heavy investment in the Little Big Trouble tree (specifically Wires Don't Talk, Electrical Burn and Myelin). Besides going for shock gaige build you will only deal X amount of increased damage vs flesh while using fire on flesh you will deal 65% additional damage. As far as I can make out it is basically a lot of visual pollution that does't do a whole lot. Shock and Aargh looks cool but all it seems to do is set off any unexploded barrels near to you.
