If you're curious for Well mods I use*, here's a list-. 2x Elemental ordinance - Grenade kills make a Well. 1x Font of Wisdom (Isn't needed, but a 1min20second Nova bomb cooldown is great fun!) 1x Well of Utility - Allows for the insane Rift uptime. 1x Bountiful Wells - Lets Elemental ordinance stack so you make 3x Void wells from 1 kill.
I run a Top Tree Voidwalker grenade build (Contraverse Hold, well mods for extra grenade energy, the works) and with the recent buffs to Axion Bolt I was curious how the were. I tinkered around with them a bit in patrol areas, heroic nightfalls, and the intro area of Grasp of Avarice and thought they were pretty solid.Starcast. • 2 yr. ago. Contra and Nez are both probably the go-to for void. Nothing Manacles is also a contender imo. Solar is definitely Starfire, possibly Rain of Fire with Vex Mythoclast as your primary. You'll still see some phoenix protocol in high end content cuz wells are still amazing. It's still going to be a good choice to take into GM content since you can have it proc twice in champions, so you get 3.5 seconds of the buff which is more or less the grenade back.
Except for Handheld Supernova (HHSN) boosted by Contraverse Hold. The combo has up to 17m or 18m 1 shot range and gives damage resistance at the same time which allows you to survive anything short of Supers and LoW which in many cases ends witha trade anyways. HHSN with Contraverse Hold has no match and no counters in close quarters combat.Contraverse with Opressive Darkness and Handheld nova is the best thing ever. It absolutely melts all sorts of enemies. Nezarec just doesn't buff me as well. And the Skull is still broken into pieces, so Contraverse it is And honestly, Contraverse isn't all that ugly to me.
