Just got an offer $800 6 day/5 night stay at Westin Maui location that includes car rental and $75 credit, etc. Seems like it's a common offer out there. Everything sounds good especially price and no pressure to sit in on timeshare pitch. The only catch mentioned at the very end of the call is that my spouse is REQUIRED to go.

GREAT CHOICE. Regarding the rental car and parking... yes, you will need a car even if it's just to get to and from the airport (Westin doesn't offer trips too and from the airport). The Westin does offer shuttle service to and from Lahaina (not sure how often, because, we didn't use the service). Parking is pretty good.
