How to open chevy cruze trunk from inside.
The 2011and 2012 cruze had a different trunk release switch and it allowed water intrusion. This corroded the switch so it eventually would stop working. Before that point the water would short out the switch causing the trunk to open on its own. I've never heard of it popping right back open, but that doesn't mean it's not a possibility.

If you don't want to tamper with the vehicle wiring, can solder a couple of wire to the base of the relay and bring those out.
