Hey j-f, You don't need to take the radio apart to fix the battery issue. All you have to do is take the battery cassette apart & remove the small charging circuit board. There is a red & black wire soldered on the board that you need to de-solder & solder on a charging/power plug & then you will be able to use a LiFe Tx battery.Desert Aircraft is proud to announce its latest engine, the DA 120. The DA is lighter. 3W has WAY more torque , higher compression, and low end grunt than the DA.. The 3w 110 CS will out perform a DA120. 3w 110 classic is on par with the DA 120. The 3W runs a bit smoother.
