Holy cow, I was surprised to see Erie PA in this sub reddit! There are not many shops, but my favorite is Game Corps, on buffalo road. It is geared towards magic players and has magic events tuesday, thursday and friday. John who runs Game Corps is awesome and he has well-run events with great prize support.

I went to a stag there a couple weeks ago and it was nice. Nice bathrooms, big covered patio areas attached to big kitchen rooms with windows where you can serve drinks from. Born and raised in Erie, recently moved to NYC. I am going to be completely honest with you, moving away from Erie was one of the best things I've ever done. Erie is severely lacking in culture and variety, and violence/crime is getting worse by the day. HOWEVER, it sounds like it might be a good place for you to continue your career.
