Dodge durango intermittent starting problem.

A few seconds pass and multiple warnings start and a message displays saying vehicle is shutting down, pull over and stop. Once stopped the Durango basically goes none responsive and finally dies and looses all aux power. Dealer replaced Aux Battery & alternator. Dec-2020, Same as above. Dodge Durango Starting Problems. But recently my 2020 dodge Durango gt wouldn’t start in the parking lot and my check engine light was on, there was a click but it would not start. So I got it towed and they replaced my alternator and starter. 2014 low-mileage Challenger SXT with 2-year-old, 60-month battery. Starts instantly cold. Starts instantly hot. However, when sitting 5-6 hours, it will sometimes crank 3-4 seconds before firing. In one case, cranking actually stopped — and briefly displayed check engine light. But it then started fine. Didn't check to see what's happening out at the actual lights yet. Wifey noticed it once this weekend and now today it's happening often.

Aug 6, 2022 · Keep in mind, that if the battery has gone dead, been unhooked, replaced, etc. some of the codes may have cleared. Start with the ignition key at the off position. Rotate it from off to run (not start) 3 time within 5 seconds. you'll end up leaving it in run. Any stored codes will display on the odometer readout.
