Both CSULB and SDSU will give you an excellent education in the sciences (Biology). In regards to research and internships, it will be depend upon how much effort you put in to seek out these opportunities since they are there at both schools.

SDSU is pretty well known for college sports as well, much more than CSULB. The SDSU basketball team has always been highly regarded and it’s getting plenty of attention right now, especially since they’re in the final four for the first time ever. They have pretty good academics out there and depending on where you’re coming from LA traffic is worse than Northridge traffic. I've been told the program is better at CSULA, however, also been told the culture around CSUN is a lot better.
