You max out at 30 hearts and 3 rings of stamina. Game won't allow you any further than that. Focus on stamina. PLENTY of resources to give you extra hearts as you slowly build up your health, and plenty enough to stock up on such meals, but the extra stamina is harder to come by.

IMO all in on stamina. If you're worried about surviving, maybe get enough hearts so you can't be one-hit killed by strong enemies, so like 4-5 hearts. You can easily find healing food and food that adds extra hearts (those truffles and radishes), but stamina recovery food is much more rare.
