Tether distance doesn't work properly on ark ascended. I turned the tether distance up to 99 on my server , but when he runs 180 meters away from me, he gets the message "you're heading out of range! you need to get closer to the host player!. Does anyone know the fix for this? There isn't.

I love the game and can deal with some of the small bugs in the game but one thing that ruins the game is the tether distance. 250m? Way too short. The tether is now set at 5 or 9, but somehow we can still separate and glide all over the map without triggering this minimal tether, so long as we don't change zones. It is almost as though the tether setting is no longer real. Change it to 99, unless you go into a cave or smth it shouldn't pull you.
